Public bug reported:

The display driver for my Nvidia G-Force 5200 is not compatible with the original driver that was installed
and I had no display on neither 14.04 nor 16.4.
I did SSH to my server and run these commands to install a new Nvdia driver
in order to have display on the server:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

# install the latest version
$ sudo apt-get install nvidia-current

And restart the server.

** Affects: grub2 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
