  I am trying to install Ubuntu16.04 (vdvd installation ) on Brazos LPAR.I configured network manually while installation and still network does not come up after installation.

  During the installation, eth0 is being assigned to the static IP address provided but after the boot, eth0 is being assigned to some IPv6 address. Also, it shows the type 'auto' instead of static.
