I would suggest that such desktop facilities should be disabled while
ubiquity is running; it's not meant to be a full desktop environment.

** Project changed: launchpad => ubiquity (Ubuntu)

** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu)

Title:
during install right click on desktop and select terminal emulator
  does nothing

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
During the Lubuntu install you can right-click on an empty area of the
desktop to bring up a menu. One of those menu items is "Terminal
  Emulator". This does not work.

Expected behaviour: a terminal window like xterm should appear.
  Actual behaviour: nothing happens.

By contrast, selecting "Web Browser" from the same menu does work and
  brings up Firefox.

Tested with Lubuntu 2015-09-19 daily beta. I was on the "Preparing
to install Lubuntu" screen where it has the three checkmarks for drive
  space, power source, internet.
