Could you describe the problem in further detail?
- In which order did you install the Ubuntu and Windows?
If you installed Windows after Ubuntu it is a well known issue that the latter overwrites the boot menu so Grub won't show up. That been the case you can find information on how to fix it at askubuntu.com
- Is Windows overriding grub every time you boot into it?
This also a well known issue
- Is something else going on?

Bug description:
Switching between OS's causes grub file to be overwritten by Windows?
My technical knowledge is very limited therefore I am unable to solve
the problem?
Original installation was Ubuntu 14.04.2 but had been upgraded to
