No dice, but perhaps I'm doing something wrong. I'm attaching the result
of running:

grep ^ /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

Please tell me what and how to clean anything up.

  System update from Kubuntu 15.04 to 15.10 fails.

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Running Kubuntu 15.04. I got the update prompt, but the update fails
  after finishing step 2 (configuring new update sources I believe). I
  disabled all 3rd party sources from package mmanager and tried again,
  but it didn't help. Reboot also did not help.
