Title:
Content in /etc/default/locale not correct for zh and pt locales
Status in localechooser:
New
Status in Ubuntu Kylin:
New
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
In Progress
Bug description:
In /target/etc/default/locale, LANG is expected to be set to
zh_CN.UTF-8 when the user chose Chinese (simplified), and
localechooser takes the 5th row of the file named languagelist for zh
and pt locales, which is error-prone (it's zh_CN:zh), and the 4th row
should be used instead (zh_CN.UTF-8).
Original description
=======================================
Configuration:
PC: HP-Pavilion-Sleekbook-15-PC
OS: UK15.10-0614-Daily-amd64&i386
Installed simplified chinese by default. The description of the
installed system is almost entirely in English.
