  New to ubuntu, so all of this information (except this part) was added automatically.
  Sorry if any of this has been done incorrectly.
  Release 14.04
  apt-cache policy pkgname gives N: Unable to locate package pkgname
  I expected to update my computer with sudo apt-get update
