Hi Mathieu,

Sure, I am asking someone to validate them ASAP.

Thanks

Title:
  grub2 ppc64el backports for 14.04

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in grub2 source package in Trusty:
  In Progress

Bug description:
  This ticket is to track some patches that were added after the 14.04
  release and are important for the ppc64el version of 14.04.

  For now I think we should include:

   - replace install_powerpc_machtypes.patch to a new one from release 14 (attached here): This patch enables the installation using powervm and fixes the ticket [1];
   - ppc64el-disable-vsx.patch: This patch avoids that the build add some VSX code. VSX is not enabled during the boot and calling it can cause a crash. There is no ticket for it.
