Since HAL is depreciated and the Ubuntu-Version this bug was reported
against is EOL setting bug-status to "incomplete".

Feel free to revert it back, if you are not satisfied though.

Thanks for reporting!

Title:
Unable to mount NTFS partition from Dolphin: HAL error regression

Status in ntfs-3g package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ntfs-3g

This is a regression of <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/ntfs-3g/+bug/395079>, but I am forced to open a new bug since
Launchpad won't let me reopen that one.

When trying to mount an NTFS partition on my Maverick laptop just now
  I got this error:

An error occurred while accessing '20.0 GiB Hard Drive', the system
  responded: org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.InvalidMountOption: The
option 'locale=en_US.UTF-8' is not allowed for uid=1000

I don't think I need to say anything more, since bug #395079 says it
  all.
