Title:
deselecting a package means that it is not to be installed

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

Update manager just told me there were three updates: mountall,
  plymouth and plymouth-theme-ubuntu-text. I uncheck plymouth-theme-
ubuntu-text so that its not installed, but it gets installed anyways.
