[Bug 1451264] Re: update-manager stopped in the middle, probably because of suspend or sleep (not network down)

Note, I ran update-manager on May 1, since then have had oom as dmesg
show, may have had then also, that could have triggered this. Just do
not remember or noticed then what was happening. oom are frequent..
Still not sure it happened then. syslog would show, just seems I
probably can't upload.. dmesg too old to see? and doesn't show dates..
Why is syslog not uploaded.. by default?

Title:
update-manager stopped in the middle, probably because of suspend or
  sleep (not network down)

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Just the facts (I wrote an even longer bug-report and launchpad ate
  it..):

ubuntu-bug asked if this was related to version update. I said no -
should I have said yes? Note, I've used update-manager a few times
without this and never happened in 12.04 and older I've used over the
  years.

[Off topic?: Since maybe this time (I think I was also updating
network-manager), WiFi-network shows "no network", still there is
network.. not sure if/how it has to do with udev.]
