Title:
Fix for bug 357884 broke installation of python2.5 when some packages
  supporting only python2.6+ are installed

Status in python-central package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: python-central

Bug 357884 / version 0.6.11ubuntu7 added this change:
  http://launchpadlibrarian.net/25498595/python-
  central_0.6.11ubuntu6_0.6.11ubuntu7.diff.gz

This is fundamentally broken - it essentially says "never mind what
any package claims to support, just outright ignore it and install it
  anyway". This should be reverted.
