You are attempting to install go a GPT partitioned disk. This requires
the use of either an EFI system partition ( if you are booting in UEFI
mode ), or a bios_grub partition for booting in bios mode, as you appear
to be doing. You will need to create a 1 mb bios_grub partition during
the partitioning phase of installation.

Title:
Ubiquity crashed while installing grub2
Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
This occured on a system with an intel i3, a MSI H81M-P33 mainboard
and a Samsung SSD 850 EVO. The installer booted from a usb3 stick
(Corsair Survivor). In the System was also a classic HDD with an old
Ubuntu installation on it.
The installation was Ubuntu 14.10.
I expected the installation to finish. Instead it showed that this is
a srious error. It would help if I got information at this point on
how to solve the problem by hand.
