  15.10 Installer with check for updates checked crashes

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  The installation shows the congratulation dialog with the "Continue
  using Ubuntu" and "Reboot system" options as if everything went great
  and then the grub-installer appears telling me it failed to run. My
  ubuntu is installed on /dev/sdd on a ssd (Samsung 850 Pro). After
  clicking on ok a dialog appears telling me where else I can install
  grub, but no matter which option I select, they all fail.

  Simply stuck on trying to install the grub-installer at the end of the
  ubuntu installer.
