  Download for Ubuntu 15.04 from 14.10 does not work

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Nvidia-331 failure on my computer has seem to corrupted everything
  involving anything that could fix the problem.  I can no longer
  install or delete software, OpenGL no longer works, and I can not
  change drivers. Now I updated from 14.04 to 14.10 but that only seemed
  to make the problem worse because now when I try to update to 15.04 it
  comes up with an error message saying that it can no longer continue
  the update.  I am currently on the 14.10 version of Ubuntu.
