Oh, you mentioned trying to install ubuntu studio, even though the
actual iso image you're attempting to install from is ubuntu gnome. You
can download images for ubuntu studio from
http://ubuntustudio.org/download/ .

  Installing Ubuntu Vivid Vervet - Installer  Crashed

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I installed Ubuntu Studio 15.04 and the Software Packege Manger
  Crashed. Tried evrything posible to get working again but no luck. I
  decided to just do a fresh clean install of Ubuntu Vivid Ververt -
  then here this - Installer Crashed. Are we talking about a virus bug
  installed on drive? I will try to install a lesser version.
