Bug description:
  It would be best for the geoip wget timeout to be quite short (maybe
  10-15 seconds?), since it isn't critical for this lookup to succeed.
  See bug 519241.  Unfortunately, busybox wget doesn't support timeout
  options, which complicates things ...
