Public bug reported:

1) Lubuntu 15.04

2) apt-cache policy pkgname returns: Installed: 1:15.04.7

3)

I did this:

a. Clicked on the Settings... button on Software Updater.
b. Window of "Software & Updates" Settings popped up in the Updates tab.
c. Check boxes were unresponsive, dropdowns worked (a list was displayed), but you couldn't select an option.

If I run 'sudo update-manager', this problem disappears.

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
