Title:
update-manager not upgrading nautilus in trusty

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Okay, this is a weird bug. When upgrading trusty from release to
current, update-manager completely ignores the upgrades to nautilus,
  nautilus-data, and libnautilus-extension1a.

There's no dialog complaining about partial upgrades, or any other
error or failure, it just seems to entirely ignore them. After the
system is successfully upgraded via update-manager, if you drop to a
commandline and "apt-get upgrade", you'll see those three packages
  pending.

  [Test case]

Install from the trusty-desktop-amd64 ISO and do *not* select
"download updates during install". Boot into the fresh install and
run update-manager. Complete the upgrade, and then run apt-get
upgrade on a terminal to note the nautilus stragglers that got left
  behind.
