Phillip, I actually don't know how to determine whether the problem is gparted or linux. Also I was asked to provide this information and I had already run bleachbit so the original information was no longer present. I decided to generate the info once again and could not discover a method of inserting it into the original. I was hoping that a moderator could merge the 2 bug reports. Respectfully I've tried to do my due diligence in reporting this, as I'm perfectly satisfied with using the drive as 12.04.5 a bootable OS I think a moderator can merge these 2 - if not so be it as I don't think this will affect too many folks!
Respectfully
Peter Pfeiffer
