Same issue here on ASUS Zenbook UX301LAA with SSD Raid. For some reason
os-prober ignores Windows Boot Manager EFI partition. Looks like the
real problem is the EFI test. Here's a syslog entry after running os-
prober:

Jun  7 00:00:17 shadow-zenbook os-prober: debug: running /usr/lib/os-probes/mounted/05efi on mounted /dev/mapper/isw_dahhdhgec_ASUS_OS1
Jun  7 00:00:17 shadow-zenbook 05efi: debug: /dev/mapper/isw_dahhdhgec_ASUS_OS1 is a FAT32 partition
Jun  7 00:00:17 shadow-zenbook 05efi: debug: /dev/mapper/isw_dahhdhgec_ASUS_OS1 is virtual device: exiting

Title:
  os-prober does not detect Windows 8.

Status in os-prober package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Fresh installation of Ubuntu alongside with pre-existing Windows8 on
  ASUS U500VZ notebook, SSD RAID. Can't achieve boot to Windows from
  GRUB while UEFI boots both systems no problems.

  $ sudo os-prober
  /dev/mapper/isw_bhiiigeffb_RAID0SYS7:Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS (14.04):Ubuntu:linux

  does not see Windows.

  boot-repair sees Windows, but asks to disable Security Boot feature
  that doesn't seem to be possible on this EFI implementation.
