  Crashed on attempted install of ubuntu 11.10 on new 64bit machine.
  First load has problem with Radeon graphics card

Bug description:
  Tried to install 11.10 on 64 bit machine with Windows 7 preinstalled.
  Evidentally no drivers included for Radeon graphics card. Tried to
  reinstall, just so I could get to terminal window and perhaps fix it.
  Crashed during reinstall.
