When installing to a fake raid, you need to install grub to the whole
raid array ( /dev/mapper/pdc_iieajihg ) rather than an individual disk (
/dev/sda ). In addition, you appear to have somehow placed partitions
inside of a partition ( /dev/mapper/pdc_iieajihg5 ), which is not valid.

** Changed in: grub-installer (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  raid0 gpt uefi install failed on grub installation. uefi boot
  problems.

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Cannot boot LUbuntu 15.04 after UEFI install. I have installed
  bootloader on the partition where linux resides, on the dedicated boot
  partition for linux, on the first efi fat32 partition...

  Now when trying to install bootloader on /dev/sda grub installer
  crashed and whole installation is gone. Not really sure if /dev/sda
  should be really there as an option because I am using RAID0..
