[Bug 1471503] [NEW] Can't install 14.04.1 on new workstation (from CD)

I'm not sure what has happened. I have never seen this error before...
it simply came up and said it could not install grub of /dev/sda. I
tried another device (/dev/sdc) but it gave me the same error with no
specifics.
