There are messages in syslog:
Jan 10 13:47:51 ubuntu ntfsresize: NTFS is inconsistent. Run chkdsk /f on Windows then reboot it TWICE!
Jan 10 13:47:51 ubuntu ntfsresize: The usage of the /f parameter is very IMPORTANT! No modification was
Jan 10 13:47:51 ubuntu ntfsresize: and will be made to NTFS by this software until it gets repaired.
I would suggest first trying to get back into Windows (assuming this
would be a dual-boot install), following the steps listed above, before
trying the installation again.
If on the other hand the error you are getting does not appear to happen
at the partitioning step; please add a screenshot of the error, crash,
or any other information you feel would be relevant to how things are
failing in the installer.
Thanks!
