A quick workaround is to "sudo cp /etc/default/keyboard.pre-ubiquity
/etc/default/keyboard" on the live system BEFORE it finishes copying
over the files and starts configuring the new system. This way you can
get through the installation and continue testing and debugging Kubuntu.
