Title:
  package grub-pc 1.97~beta4-1ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade:
  subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 1

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

  Crash reported after attempting to upgrade from Synaptic. After
  reviewing the dpkg log, it looks like the previous error I encountered
  with the VMWare player -- not grub2 -- is causing the problem.
