Is this still reproducable? BTW, the Java applet based Bank ID is now
being replaced by a HTML/JS based one, so this should not be an issue
anymore in Norway.

  Ubuntu/Lubuntu Quantal i386, 64bit and powerpc

  Packages involved:

  This report was launched from an powerpc iBook G4, but it is the same
  on i386 and 64bit systems; so not cpu architecture specific.

  When I try to launch this java based BankID test, browser crashes
  immediately. Midori does the same. It runs fine in Windows.  It is a
  widely used standard  sign-in for web based Bank services.

  Sorry the site is not in English, but java popup should easily be
  recogniced. Browser crashes as soon as java starts running.
