Thanks for your prompt reply, but what happens now, or what can I do
to 

upgrade.

I am not carrying any additional software or additions,
Flight Gear I have not even 

heard of it before.

I am relatively new
to Linux but have been involved with computers since mid 1975. 

I am
just totally confused st the moment.
