I have reproduced the same issue with Ubuntu 14.10 and a Zenbook UX32VD,
with Windows 7 64-bit already installed. I wonder if failure of GRUB
installation is related to the fact that the laptop comes with 2 SDDs
configured as RAID 0. Perhaps Ubuntu/GRUB installation cannot handle the
RAID 0 correctly.
