version no more supported; not a 'security' problem, so no backport
expected

Title:
  do-release-upgrade from 10.04.4 to 12.04 doesn't work

Status in update-manager-core package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I have to make a testupgrade for our mysql servers from 10.04 to 12.04
and installed a test environment. First I got a wrong packagelist via
dpkg --get-selections from a wrong server and installed it. Afterwards
I changed this list to purge and then I first selected the purge list
and immediatly after that I selected the correct list and applied it
  with dselect.

Now I am stuck with do-release-upgrade.
I do a 'do-release-upgrade -d' and it offers me 12.04 but after changing the source.list it just quits with
E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.

I have no idea where the problem is.

  My /var/log/dist-upgrade is attached.
