Title:
Gparted freezed during a HD scan

Status in gparted package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I was attempting to delete a partition on a broken HD. During this
operation, Gparted freezed and I needed to stop it with xkill command.
I think that it's a fault due to the broken hard disk, not to some bug
in Gparted, but, in doubt, I prefere to do this bug report.
