Title:
Upgrading from grub -> grub-pc does not honor defoptions setting in
  menu.lst

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

When upgrading from grub -> grub-pc, the config script looks for kopts
from the existing menu.lst, but does not consider changed defoptions
from that same file, as users are likely to edit those as well.
