Please show the full output of "dpkg -l | grep linux-image" (the
askubuntu link you quote only has a summary of it; I need the full
output).
** Package changed: grub2-signed (Ubuntu) => grub2 (Ubuntu)

Title:
no kernel update since deleting the latest kernel
Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I was having problems with the latest kernels, so I deleted 3-4 of the
latest ones which didn't work. This I reported in
http://askubuntu.com/questions/654014/can-i-delete-my-most-recent-
kernels/654020#654020
Finally I got back to 3.19.0-18 and I was happy that I could work again. Here is the bug.
What I expected to happen would be the next time there was a new kernel I would continue to progress. This hasn't happened and I am stuck at 3.19.0-18 instead of 3.19.0-26. This I likewise reported
http://askubuntu.com/questions/665129/unable-to-update-to-the-latest-
kernel
No one has been able to answer and it looks like a definite bug. I can
keep waiting until 15.10 is released and hope that fixes the problem,
but it remains a bug.
Thanks,
Ilan
