I look at ffmpeg package and there are no problems (screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27515337/ffmpeg.update-manager.png )
But syntax of ffmpeg description looks exactly the same: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/vivid/ffmpeg/vivid/view/head:/debian/control

aptitude show works perfect for both of packages with correct newlines
