OS: Ubuntu 14.04
Installed M4: latest from the repository
M4 binary path (included to PATH variable): /usr/bin/m4


While thying to compile autom4te, I get following errors: 

* "./config: 311: ./config.lineno: Y: not found (multiple times)"
* "checking for GNU M4 that supports accurate traces... config: error: no acceptable m4 could be found in $PATH.
GNU M4 1.4.13 or later is recommended"

** Affects: autoconf2.64 (Ubuntu)
