Status in initramfs-tools package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  When using an encrypted disk the passphrase dialogue is not shown long
  enough. It appears that the system boot continues, despite the
  passphrase dialogue is shown. So you don't have enough time to input
  the password before the boot splash disappears.
