[Bug 1448586] Re: package rpcbind 0.2.1-6ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess new pre-removal script returned error exit status 1

this was generated in the middle of a 'do-release-upgrade' from 14.10 to
15.04. After a few reboots and several boots into recovery mode with 'dpkg
--configure -a', the error finally went away.
