Title:
  [dapper] update-manager reports 8.04.1 available when current is
  8.04.4

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

  When running update-manager on up-to-date dapper LTS, it reports that
  a New Distribution Release '8.04.1 LTS' is available; however, the
  currently available version of 8.04 LTS is 8.04.4. update-manager
  should either report 8.04 or 8.04.4. (I'm not sure if this is a bug in
  update-manager itself or in the meta data that it's looking at at
  archive.ubuntu.com.)

  $ apt-cache policy update-manager
  update-manager:
    Installed: 0.42.2ubuntu22.2
    Candidate: 0.42.2ubuntu22.2
    Version table:
   *** 0.42.2ubuntu22.2 0

          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
