------- Comment From pavsubra at in.ibm.com 2015-04-01 06:33 EDT-------
I have done a fresh installation on P8 machine with Ubuntu 15.04 netboot latest images downloaded from the link: http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/dists/vivid/main/installer-ppc64el/current/images/netboot/netboot.tar.gz

I have copied them to our HTTP repo server and then in the target
machine I rebooted to petitboot menu and gave the vmlinux and initrd.gz
images and booted from those.

Then the installation proceeded normally and succeeded without any
issues.
