  kubuntu-devel-release-upgrade crashes looking for ibus-daemon

Bug description:
  During an upgrade from 14.04 to 14.10 the kubuntu-devel-release-
  upgrade script crashed.

  The traceback is listed below.:

  adept_updater: no process found                                                 
  QInotifyFileSystemWatcherEngine::addPaths: inotify_add_watch failed: No such file or directory                                                                  
  QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: /root/.config/ibus/bus                 
  Bus::open: Can not get ibus-daemon's address.
