Title:
Trigger does not ensure that /var/cache/man exists
Status in “man-db” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I'm using Ubuntu 14.10 dev with man-db 2.6.7.1-1 and after clearing
/var/cache I'm seeing very often errors from man-db if the triggers
are processed on upgrading packages. Here is an example output how it
looks:
Processing triggers for man-db (2.6.7.1-1) ...
/usr/bin/mandb: can't create index cache /var/cache/man/7623: No such file or directory
