Title:
shows wrong new version?
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I pressed reload in update-manager, and it offered me a new update: base-config
with "New version: 2.62ubuntu1", so I told it to upgrade. When I expanded the
terminal during the upgrade, it showed "Preparing to replace
base-config_2.62ubuntu1 (using .../base-config_2.62ubuntu4_all.deb) ...".
It seems that update-manager was showing the old version, not the new version,
although I haven't noticed it doing that all the time. I think I had previously
upgraded base-config using update-manager, although I wouldn't like to swear to
that since this was a scratch install for installer testing purposes.
