Title:
Installation failure when checking for packages to install
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Installing 14.04 using "other" option on a disk with Windows 7 already
on it. Installing ubuntu to the first partition on the extended
partition (sda5), using a /home folder in a separate partition (sda6)
in extended.
Still trying different things to find a way around this failure, with
not much information to go on. The installation had just switched to
"checking packages to install", so maybe there is a problem there? But
isn't the list generated by the install process? What can I do
different?
