  installer crashes due to bug grub-installer

Status in “grub-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I tried reinstalling ubuntu cause i felt i had no other way of getting
  it sortred out but it crashed due to a grub-installer, apparently it
  doesnt have on... I do not know what to do. Just need someone to fix
  ubuntu for me :).
