Hey,
I finally managed to migrate Kubuntu to version 14.10 
in the new Dependency Based Booting system ... 
following packages might be problematic:
virtualbox (wrong init script)
virtuoso-nepomuk (maintainer didnt end the init section correctly)

  I expected the kubuntu upgrade manager to upgrade the
  package but the script or whatever it is exited with status code 1.
