I thing I've learned from Canonical, stable releases of Ubuntu does NOT
means they are really stable.

I faced a LOT of problems with Trusty after official release, and now
this...    :-/

Bug description:
  Attempted to install icedtea-7-plugin on Ubuntu MATE Remix and
  received this error. Looks like an upstream bug from the Ubuntu MATE
  team, but seems to affect other users as well. Has been reported via
  IRC on Freenode #ubuntu-mate as also existing in Ubuntu GNOME 14.04
  Trusty.
