Similar problems occur trying to install icedtea-plugin.
1. This is release 14.10, and the error has been observed in Lubuntu,
and ubuntuMate. I haven't tried other Ubuntu variants.
2. The version of the package being installed is: icedtea-netx:i386
(1.5.1-1ubuntu1)
3. I expected it to install (using OpenJava 7) as it has on Ubuntu
14.04
4. It appears to have installed icedtea-plugin, yet every time I try
to install something else, it produces error status (above), though it
seems to actually install what I requested.
