The flash drive you tried to install to is write protected. You will
need to disable that write protection.

Title:
Install failure into a usb drive

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I use to re-install Ubuntu in my usb drives in order to collect there
all my data and software... I dont understand why it's so dificult to
do it again... Somehow the problem has to be in my drive, because I
dont know why it has always problems with "partitions not found" or
something like that... And I have done several times always reading
  how to improve that!!

I only want to have Ubuntu on my usb drive... Thanks a lot!!
