Please be aware, that the setting of the keyboard should be done as soon
as possible. E.g. with the keyboard you could enter a city in the time
zone picker. See related bugs, where an early keyboard selection is very

  New

Bug description:
  I'm installing lucid from the kubuntu daily cd. It lets me choose
  where I am to set timezone information - based on this it would be
  reasonable to guess my keyboard layout as well (I'm in Sweden, I'm
  likely to have a swedish keyboard layout). Instead, I'm presented with
  the default us layout.
